The pre-holiday crochet frenzy...
I have several projects to make for Christmas:
A scarf and legwarmers for my fellow. (He asked for both, I swear.)

Me: Oh, about 15 minutes. Would you like us to fill the generic?
Crazy lady: *forcefully points at the paperwork* WHAT BOX DID I CHECK ON THE FORM? WHAT BOX DID I CHECK ON THE FORM? WHICH BOX??? WHICH BOX??? SHOW ME THE FORM!! WHICH BOX??? SHOW ME!!! WHAT BOX DID I CHECK??? WHAT DOES THE FORM SAY??? WHAT BOX DID I CHECK??? SHOW ME THE FORM!!! LOOK AT THE FORM!!! (referring to the "Would you like generic drugs when available?" question on the form)
Me: *bewildered but calm* You checked "no" on the form, but I just wanted to double-check with you because your doctor signed on the prescription that we could substitute the generic and I don't have brand Fosamax in stock. I'd have to order it.
Crazy lady: Oh, I see... Well, generic Fosamax is okay.
Me: So, you DO want generic Fosamax.
Crazy lady: Oh, yes I do. It's probably much cheaper anyway.
Me: *saying this in my head* So that's a "yes", then?

Darvocet is bad, mkay? →
Darvocet and Darvon are being voluntarily pulled from the market by the manufacturer (generics haven’t been pulled quite yet so they’re still available)… Our customers at work don’t seem to care, though. I guess heart problems are preferable to “pain”?
